Taoyuan City Government's 27 engineering works won the “2022 FIABCI-Taiwan Real Estate Excellence Awards,” recognizing Taoyuan's public construction achievements

 

Taoyuan Mayor Cheng Wen-Tsan held the municipal administrative meeting on the afternoon of September 21 and accepted 27 awards of the “2022 FIABCI-Taiwan Real Estate Excellence Awards” presented by the City Departments and Offices. Mayor Cheng said that the FIABCI-Taiwan Real Estate Excellence Awards is organized by the Real Estate Association of R.O.C. and has been in operation since 2006, with seven types of awards and four categories of awards planned. This year, 13 units of the City Government proposed 27 engineering works respectively, and all of them won awards, with a total of 3 Special Awards, 16 Gold Awards and 8 Quality Awards, which is worth recognizing and acknowledging the efforts of each unit in public construction.

 

Mayor Cheng mentioned that the Secretary-General of Taoyuan City Government, Huang Chih-Feng, led a team to receive the “2022 FIABCI World Prix d’Excellence Awards” in Paris, France in June this year (2022). The Taiwan delegation won 11 awards, of which Taoyuan won 2 gold and 2 silver, showing that the City has grown significantly in the quality of public works, design concepts, maintenance management and accessibility of facilities. Although there are occasional shortcomings that need to be improved, teams of the City will be pragmatic in addressing and improving the inadequacies.
