Mayor Cheng Wen-Tsan held the municipal meeting on March 11, praising the outstanding students who attended “2019 Malaysia International Invention Exhibition.” Mayor Cheng says that Malaysia International Invention Exhibition is the biggest invention exhibition in Asia. In Taoyuan City, Lin Yu-Han from Yoder Bilingual Academy, Lin Han from Chung-Li Junior High School, and Guan Chia-Yi from Pingjen Senior High School made up a team. Their work “Easy Emergency Device” and “Portable Sewage Disposal Device” won two gold medals while there were thousands of works competing with them. Taoyuan City Government appreciated the effort the instructors and the school made, hoping that science education will continuously be implemented in the future.

Edison says, “Genius is one percent inspiration and ninety-nine percent perspiration.” Among the contestants, the brother and the sister, Lin Yu-Han from Yoder Bilingual Academy and Lin Han from Chung-Li Junior High School did a good job. They won respectively five medals in “2019 Republic of Croatia International Invention Exhibition” and “Malaysia International Invention Exhibition.” Taoyuan City Government encourages all students to create something by themselves, inventing more creative work. Taoyuan City Government will continue promoting the spirits of creativity and science, making the most of Maker's educational philosophy.
