Mayor Cheng Wen-Tsan attended “The Opening Ceremony of Nankan River Impression Bridge” on February 10th in Taoyuan District. Mayor Cheng indicated that after the city government was upgraded, it has been cooperating with Water Resources Agency on the management plan of Nankan River basin. During his period of office, four bridges were completed in succession: Nankan River New Spring Bridge, Shueibiantou Bridge, Nankan Bridge, and Jumong Bridge. The newly finished Impression Bridge is the fifth bridge in Nankan River basin. It's 634 meters long and it stretches over Jinguo Second Bridge and Dakuaisi Bridge in s-shape, forming an air corridor. Along the line, you can see Nankan River from above. Impression Bridge connects the last mile of bikeway in upstream and downstream of Nankan River, completing the 22km greenway to create the high quality waterfront view.
