The Inauguration of the First Potamology Educational Center in Taiwan
The Taoyuan County Government established the Taoyuan County Potamology Educational Center on the north side of Xinrong Elementary School in Zhongli on Mother’s Day, May 13th. Mayor Wu attended the ceremony in the morning and inaugurated the Potamology Educational Center. Even the high temperature could not stop the public from attending and many families were attracted to the event.
Laojie Creek is the most important river in Zhongli. The county government is striving to turn it into a beautiful and clean river, and hopes that the educational center will combine river dredging with education, and teach the children that protecting the river is the same as protecting their homes...
